This was a Design-Build project for a new permanent party dormitory complex to house 400 Marines in a comfortable home environment similar to that available in the private sector. CSI provided final landscape architectural design services for the preparation of construction documents for numerous site improvements including pedestrian walks, landscaping, outdoor recreational areas, and a greenway trail.
The project was designed to conform to Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) criteria. Specific AT/FP features included: building stand-off distances with trees used around the site to screen the buildings. The project was also designed to achieve LEED Silver rating for sustainable design.
