Rampart Police Station

This renovation transforms the former LAPD Rampart Division Station into a proud new home for the elite LAPD Metropolitan Division. The design provides a fresh, accessible exterior image and increases cross-platoon collaboration and staff amenities while respecting the original architecture.  The landscape design was provided for a neighborhood pocket park, staff courtyard, upper deck patio rooftop garden as well as the perimeter treatment and bio-swale application for on-site runoff treatment.  This project has since won few awards including an “Unbuilt Design Excellence Award” from the Los Angeles Mayor and Cultural Affairs Commission and the 2012 “Unbuilt Design Concept Award” from the Southern California Development Forum.
