Red Hill Avenue Visual Impact Study

This project called for a proposed raised bridge structure with drop ramps to be installed on the intersection of Red Hill and Edinger Avenues. A Visual Impact Assessment was required as part of the Technical Study to satisfy the EIR and EIS. Evaluation of the existing and proposed view shed and their vividness, intactness, and unity scores were compared and evaluated. Photo simulations of the proposed project were part of this submittal. All the work was done to FHWA standards.

We worked closely with Caltrans District 12 on this project to meet their landscape regulations and requirements.
