Air force village west

This retirement community for retired military officers or honorably separated officers of the armed services over 55 years of age is located on 153 acres of former March Air Force Base property. It provides assisted living, skilled nursing, and specialized Alzheimer’s care in one congregate care facility. An overall landscape master plan for the community including the single family homes, the streetscape, the apartments, and assisted living and central dining facility, the entry gate and perimeter was prepared. Close coordination with the County and the water district was needed to secure approvals. Contract documents for contract growing of over 1,500 trees were prepared in order to secure mature sizes and quantities within the budget.
