75 Guest House Units

This project was a U.S. Army Community and Family Support Center (MWR) Design/Build project. The site is adjacent to the existing campus of MWR facilities at Fort Buchanan. The site design developed a resort concept with facilities sited in a campus arrangement. The curved landscaped approach to the porte-cochere at the main entry and the position of the facility create a sense of arrival. The location of the facility also relates and interacts with the existing sports complex that contains a golf course, indoor swimming pool and exterior playground. A sustainable design feature was the recycling of the mature native landscaping as use for mulch for the new project.
